Gillian joined Arcadia Ponyclub in 1976. When she was in high school, her family moved to the United States, where Gillian finished high school and attended Oklahoma State University to become a veterinarian.
Since then, Gillian has worked in the United States, Australia and New Caledonia on both small animals and horses. She is currently undertaking PhD studies at The University of Sydney in equine back pain as well as working part-time at the University Teaching Hospital. Gillian is also an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian and an FEI Veterinary Delegate.
Gillian has experience in vaulting, eventing, dressage, showjumping, western pleasure, racing and trotting, as well as behavioural aspects of equine management.
She has been chief instructor of two ponyclubs and is currently President of the Arcadia Pony Club.
She is also an avid equestrian photographer which she does just for fun.
